Things have been a little quiet on the gig front this past week but we bet Claire's neighbours wish they could say the same. We went to an acoustic night at The Studio on Saturday, a smallish turnout but it was nice to see some musicians we haven't heard in while.
Anyway, sat there watching we were pretty much itching to go and write music... so we did and god it was a good idea!
We wrote for hours 'til about 2am, stopping for Chipsticks and McCoys in between and came up with a new song we're both very excited to show you! We've incorporated bits of piano and even the rain on the rough demo added a cool touch to it.
So hopefully this week we'll get a recording up so you can have a listen. In the meantime we're just posting out our tracks to various online stations and seeing what happens :)
Our next gig is a private shindig but worth mentioning because it's a night that celebrates Halton's Youth Awards... and gets us a free chicken dinner.
